Awarded RE Contracts

Since the implementation of the Renewable Energy Act of 2008, the DOE has awarded over 1,000 projects with a potential capacity of over 93 GW and installed capacity of 5.6 GW (as of March 2023). Our goal is to reach 35% renewable energy share by 2030 and 50% by 2040 in the country's electricity mix, by attracting more investments in renewable energy through a more transparent and efficient permitting system.
