Scope

Subject to Sections 9(j) and 11(i) of the Act, EVOSS covers all new power generation, transmission, and distribution projects throughout the country.

It requires all government agencies and other relevant entities involved in the permitting process to comply with the mandated timeframes in a unified and streamlined paperless process.

Consistent with Section 9(j), Sec. Alfonso Cusi, Vice-Chairperson, EVOSS Steering Committee (ESC) recommended to the ESC the expansion of the use of the platform to include other energy licensing processes, if any.

Consistent with Section 11(i), the EVOSS Steering Committee approved the recommendation of the Vice-Chairperson to expand the use of the platform to other energy licensing processes on February 20, 2020.
